The best plan I've seen for Webelos Woods is late spring, after "good"
weather arrives. In central Illinois that means late April or May. Oops!?

Webelos Woods shouldn't be a big joint Boy Scout Webelos "camporee". The
Webelos will just get lost in the shuffle. Instead, it should be a "Boy
function with the "nearly-5th grade Webelos" as the participants. Get the
best Youth Leadership you have in the district to operate the event!
A great thing to include (since you want them to be staying over) is to
"basic Boy Scout Troop concepts" training for the Webelos' parents. You
