Time to brag (a little)

Just returned from our annual trek to the Sierras. 60+ miles with 19
scouts and 4 adults (the adult miles count double don't they?). Had a
wonderful time. Lots of advancement too. I think we are issuing 31 merit
badges at the next COH, from cooking, backpacking, camping, hiking,
orienteering, and wilderness survival. Many rank advancements too. My
second son, Travis, completed his second and first class requirements. All
had fun fishing, swiming, and even playing in the snow!
My oldest son Todd, and two other boys (Matt Hyman and Casey Forster) each
had their Eagle Scoutmaster's Conference on a granite ledge at Fingerbowl
lake, overlooking the Dinkey Lakes basin. All three have their Eagle BOR
tonight. Todd was also elected SPL for this next year. All in all, we had
a great time.
Now I have to get back to this mess on my desk.
