Well, after a hiatus of a year or so, I've decided to re-join Scouts-L
First, a little biographical info. My name is Ted Langdon and I am an ASM for
troop 102, Dan Beard Council, Cincinnati, Ohio. I have worked for the past 5
summers at Woodland Trails Scout Reservation, Miami Valley Council. I earned
my Eagle in 1994, and ever since have been focusing on my troops new scout
patrol. This is where my question comes in.
My question is: For what reason, (other than lack of merit badges, skill
reqt's) would you dissaprove a scouts advancement a rank level. This pertains
to using the SM conference, o BoR its self as a way of blocking the rank.
(an example to make it clearer: a scout is coming up fo 1st class, he has
done all of the reqts, but has done X wrong. What would this X need to be for
you to deny the rank?)
