No, the Catholic "International Awareness Recognition Medallion" is a
WOSM award, approved by the BSA & presented by the local Catholic
Councils. The medallon is worn award the neck for formal affairs. The
patch, which is the same patch worn by German Catholic troops is worn
above the Blue WOSM patch. Scouters & Scouts are also awarded their
religious knot. Having been the 1st Scouter awarded the IARM, I was
shocked at the size of the Medallion; silver in color & a little larger
then our old silvber dollar or Crown.
Just another step forword in Scouting, best to you.
