Seeing Cheryl's spagetti gone brick story reminded me of one of your
scouts most memorable and worst meal. It was spagetti, mom had sent son's
favorite recipe on the campout. It was simple and hey after a day in
sub-zero temps anything tastes great, right? So, he reads the recipe,
lays out the ingredients and prepares the meat balls (up to but not
including cooking them) He then prepared the sauce and brought it to a
boil. Once boiling, in went the raw meatballs. Needless to say, an hour
later the meatballs were not done, the sauce was scorched and the spagetti
had become another brick for the giant spagetti wall. Luckly the
Scavangers (Spl & adults) had plenty of steak and baked potatoes for the
hungry, weary supper warriors.
