I have a question about the physical fitness requirements for Tenderfoot.
It says to improve in running, situps, pushups, pullups, etc. after 30 days
In my son's initial recording of the various areas, he was not able to do
even 1 pullup. As a matter of fact, he could not even make his elbows bend.
Well, after approximately two months, he still cannot do 1 pullup, but he
is able to pull up about 1/4 of the way.
His problem is he is just a big kid for 10 years old. Not fat mind you, he
is 5'3", weighs about 110, wears a size 10 shoe and is solid as a rock (and
had a .570 batting average during baseball season!!!) (Proud mom
My question is how much should we make him improve? Should we make him
keep working at it until he does one complete pullup or just have him
"improve" over nothing.
Thanks in advance for your advice!!!
