Scheduling Eagle Court

Many thanks to the several people who pointed out that one should not
schedule an eagle court until the paper work had come back. I certainly
agree with this. My point was only that if you give national a perceived
deadline, it will often be met. And, if you have an idea of when you would
like to hold the court, you need to say that. Having a planned date in
mind doesn't necessarily mean making a complete committment, it's just part
of being prepared.
Planning for an eagle court three months after the board of review
is appropriate. Just don't lock in to anything until the paperwork is
complete and returned from national.
