If this is such a "problem" at National, why don't the local Scout Shops at
and the various retail outlets check IDs before selling uniforms, patches,
materials, etc.? In the fifteen years, I have only once been asked to prove
and that was when I asked for some OA insignia. This includes in-person
to several area councils as well as phone orders.
