Names at Open House

Over the last year, I have read many discussions on putting boys names
on web pages, in the newspaper, Boys Life etc. I would like to get some
opinions on a slightly different twist. Years ago, when I was a
Scoutmaster, we had an annual 'Roll of Honor' which showed who earned
what rank and which merit badge(s) each year. This was brought out
during Courts of Honor and whenever we had Cub Scouts visiting us. I
was thinking about doing the same thing for our Cub Scout School Night.
Of course, it would list who earned Wolf, Bear etc and how many arrow
points or which Webelos activity badges the boys earned.
The boys who will be invited to the School Night already go to school
with the current boys in the pack. Therefore, they already know each
other by name. Does anyone see anything wrong with publishing their
name? Or, should I just say 20 Wolfs with 25 arrow points were earned
last year? I am open for comments, because I really have mixed feelings
in this day and age. This has not been brought before the committee
yet, I wanted to see how the list felt first.
