I agree with the parents. I would NEVER display a roster, much less a
picture with identifying information, without clear parental permission,
and probably not even then. Our Troop Web site has individual Scout Web
pages, but any info has been posted by the Scout, with parental
permission after I have addressed the issues.

Absolutely! The boys (and their parents) don't give up privacy rights
when they join Scouting.

Perhaps, but there are many "web savvy" (myself included) who have
concerns about privacy.
If you want to have pictures and/or info on the boys, I'd suggest
individual Web pages, and NO unit roster. For some good (and not so
