If it was in my power I would not allow a"Child" to reach the rank of
Eagle until age 15 or 16 ( I think 15 is still young). Yes I
understand that we have many bright and mature youth in our program
and we have many young Eagles, But if we look at how many drop out of
scouting after they reach the rank of Eagle at such a young age we as
adults should be admonished for not slowing down the process.
As a parent of 4 (2 BSA, 1 GSA and one future BSA) I would not like
for any of my children to speed through a program in such a short
time, they just can not learn what is needed in such a short time.
But this is my view and not the view of a all.
A thought for the day!

Doctor who memorized in medical school?"
