Perhaps a compromise ... I can't see a problem with the general publicity
poster type of photo, e.g. a general picture of Scouts rapelling or doing
something exciting. I can see a problem with the portrait of a kid and
the detail that Joe Soap (9) of Sometown has just been awarded his XYZ Award,
or the " my name is Jimmy Snooks - please email me " type of request.
I think that the age of the young person is also relevant ... I would be
more willing to post details of an achievement by a seventeen year old
Venture Scout accompanied by a photo than I would a photo of a six year
old Beaver Scout.
