"1.You must be at least ten and one-half years old. You may start to
earn your Webelos badge any time after you are ten and one-half years of

Scouts, you can earn your Lion badge by first becoming a Wolf and then a
Bear. Or, you may earn your Lion badge by starting immediately on your
3.Show that you are prepared in the Tenderfoot Scout requirements as
given in the Boy Scout Handbook. You will actually pass these tests to
your Scoutmaster when you join a Troop. Your Boy Scout Tenderfoot
requirements are the things you should be able to do by the time you
become a Boy Scout. Your Den Chief can help you learn these.
4.Show that you are ready to become a Boy Scout by choosing one of the
A.A home service project (Choose it with the help of your parents.)
B.A Den service project. (Choose it with the help of your Den Mother or
Webelos Den Leader.)
C.Pack or chartered institution project.
Do your best to help carry out this service project for a period of two
months or for a shorter period of time if you do not have two months of
time remaining before you are eleven.
If you do a home service project, then your mother or dad should sign
it. If you do a den service project, your Den Mother should sign it. If
you do a Pack or institution project, your Cubmaster should sign it.
5.Three months before your eleventh birthday, or any time afterwards,
visit a meeting of the Troop you wish to join and talk to the
