I took my Explorers out for a fun weekend on the lake this past weekend,
during the time when we had to wait our turn to get in the water, I was
talking with one of my explorers and I was lucky enough to get his opinions
on a few things, talk about him and how things were going and stuff like
that and then he looked at me and said "Can I ask you a question?" I agreed
and his question was this.
"You are 28 Years old, spend time working with us, listening to us, playing
with us, and teaching us, why?"
I did not have a good answer, I told him that I did this because I enjoyed
this, that I have a great group of young men, and that I would like to make
sure that they got the same opportunities that I got.
The next line was what made me feel like a million bucks. He said "Well
Bruce, Thanks, without you I am not sure what I would be doing" and then a
pat on the back. Man let me tell you, I could have walked on that water.
I had to share this, Thanks for listining,
