Visiting the Far East Council (that's the name of the Council that serves
youth in Korea, Japan, the Phillipines, Taiwan, and most of the Pac Rim) is
going to be kinda hard unless you make a side trip to Tokyo. That's where
the Council's offices are located.
There is a District office located in Seoul, near the headquarters of the US
Army's 19th Support Command. They carry most of the FEC's CSP and OA stuff,
along with some basic and Council-specific publications. While you are
there, could you please pick me up *one* OA flap from there??
Troops are plentiful as long as you're around in Seoul....check with the
District office for information on local Troops and Packs operating in the
area. Also note, Ken, that just like in lots of places Stateside, lots of
units "close out" for the summer months (what a shame!); that's why I'm
pointing you to the District's office rather than to have you try and drive
around on such a short time to find a unit that's running during the summer
Have a safe and pleasent trip, Ken...and not only bring those items, but
also bring some other unit and Council stuff (including publications; it's
HARD to get publications overseas!!) when you travel there.....and exchange
some addresses too!!
