Steve White mentions a concern that pops up rather frequently. Note
people, I am giving you the BSA rules on advancement. Briefly, in black
and white, there is verbage that states that one can be a counselor for
as many MB's as desired and that a counselor can sign off on his son.
This is BSA policy and not subject to any council, district or troop
interpretation. If someone states that something else is
council/district or troop policy, ask to see that policy in writing or
find out the author of such policy. I may not believe totally in
National policy, but, I believe that BSA stands for Boy Scouts of America.
