While I agree that asking for more insurance coverage than is
required by state law is burdensome.....
.... the point is, we have joined (voluntarily) an organization with
specific rules and regulations. Regardless of various state law, if
we have agreed to abide by the rules of the BSA, (and we have by
virtue of our signatue on the adult application) then we are
honor bound to follow those policies even if they are more
stringent than our local laws may require.
There are a few BSA rules and regs I take exception to, but follow
