Yes actually. The boys will camp Friday night, hike 10 miles with full
backpack , cook lunch, then hike 10 miles back. They will camp again on
I know it sounds like a lot to ask, but this is Delaware. Until recently,
the highest point in the county was the air traffic control tower at Dover AFB!
This part of the country is called DelMarVa. Its a peninsula formed by
Delaware and the Eastern shores of Maryland and Virginia. You would be hard
pressed to find flatter, lower, or more beautiful land.
We are trying to get the boys to hold their breaths for a few moments between
each breath to get them used to high altitudes.
