Yes, you remember the original post correctly- both Troop & den meet same
day & time.
However, also is the SM's problem, as well as the CM's and den's. Although
I don't intend to "force" the Cubs into thinking that our companion troop is
the only one to cross to, since they are our companion troop and we share
the same CO, they would be the boys first exposure to Boy Scouting &
probably the first place they'll consider when it comes cross-over time. I
just thought that I'd give this troop first crack- as they're always hungry
for Webelos from the pack.
My concerns about looking to other local Troops are 1) We share the same
Chartering Organization (CO), and 2) Our companion troop's ASM is the
Chartered Organization Representative (COR), as well as an officer in the
CO. I don't want to instigate any petty politics that could jeopardize our
standing with the CO.
