Hi, I'm new to the list and I want to tell a little about myself.
My name is Mark keeney and I am a Den Leader of 8 boys
working on Bear. This is my second year as a den leader
and I've given up the hope of always knowing how to do things.
I was a cub and a boy scout when I was growing up and was
able to receive my Eagle before the program changed in the early
1970s. I am a shaman in the tribe of Mic-o Say and was on staff
at H. Roe Bartle Scout Reservation 1974 - 1977.
I have an idea that I hope someone at national will notice. There
needs to be a Cub Scout Leaders version of the Wolf, Bear, and
Webelos books. One that is 81/2 by 11 and skinnier with holes
punched to put in a binder with the program helps and den leaders
guide. The wolf, Bear and Webelos books could be combined in
one book so we could be prepared for questions about what is
coming up next.
