Hi my name is Jeremy Brown in Troop 423 from Houston, Texas. First, let
me tell you a little about myself. I am 14 and have been in Boy Scouts
for nine years. 5 1/2 years in Cub scouts and 3 1/2 years in Boy
Scouts. In Boy Scouts some of my positions have been Librarian, Troop
Guide, ASPL wise, and SPL twice. I am currently Senior Patrol Leader.
We, as a troop, have about 15 consistent Scouts. Any ways, lately I have
been having alot of trouble controlling the group, and the ages of the
group are from 11 to 16. I have been having troubles with talking while
I and others are talking, just getting up and walking around, not doing
what I ask, and just disrupting the whole group. I need ideas that I as
an SPL, not an adult, will be able to use. How do you handle these types
of disciplinary problems? Thank You for your ideas.
