I well-remember the signalling events in camporees back in the early
My dad challenged me to beat my brother at learning the morse code. I
did. I fondly remember siting in my Scoutmaster's living room with a
flashlight to pass the final requirement for First Class rank.
I went on to earn the Signalling and Radio Merit Badges as well as earn a
Ham Radio license. Yup, today's Scouts are missing something.
