When I was an officer in the military, I personally did inspections alone.
The reason was that the same standards were applied to every one as I
had the mental check sheet as to what I was looking for in everyone.
Mutiple inspectors have multiple standards.
I would would inspect prior to meeting when every one was still in good
shape. What you might want to do is to have the boys inspect each other
with an inspection sheet That way they get to find out the right way to
wear the uniform.
I was more concerned about shirts than pants as the top part of a
person stands out more because a person loks ahead and not down
when I inspected boys in my cub pack
