Let's see, what's that saying . . . "Be ... Be.. " oh yea! "BE PREPARED"
Hey it's only a quarter and true you will probably never need it; but I
sure would hate to be stranded away from home, find a pay phone that
required a coin and only have a dollar bill.
Years ago at camporees as part of the uniform inspection each Scout was
told to "Be Prepared" and have several items with him at all times among
these were a personal first aid kit, safety pin, paper and *pencil* and a
dime (okay, now a quarter) - he would probably not need these at the
camporee (there were no pay phones in the woods) but we were teaching them
to "Be Prepared"
just my two cents worth (can someone lone me 23 cents for a phone
