However, I have noted if one's prodigy has in their possession "Lego Blocks"
or marbles, the socks will metamorhpise (sp?) into thse items and bury
themselves in the carpet or seat cushions of the sofa and only a bare foot
or tender seat will locate them. In theory there is a mysterious dye which
will then create the multitude of colors in these items. It must be noted
that the dye is not perfect and the leftover color is deposited on the
clothes in the washer. This must be fact, for when one asks one's heir, "Did
you throw anything red or blue in the wash" one inevitably receives the
reply "of course not mother dear, why would I do such an inane act."
