Do you ever get the feeling when attempting to define "Scout Spirit,"
that it is necessary to list as a minimum, two definitions-the adult's &
the lad's. Unless you have a troop of 12 followers, & you walk on
water, it should be very difficult for the average Scout to truly live
up to some of the definitions of Scout Spirit that I have so far read on
the subject. I tend to enjoy a lad enjoying his youth more then most of
the "professional volunteer Scouters" around here-so, I adhere to "On my
honor, I WILL DO MY BEST..." It has a lot to do with which Scout you
are addressing at the time. In our 17 troops, I have noticed that some
Scouts appear to be more equal then others, when evaluating Scout
Spirit. I am a moving target-so fire away.
