If I remember correctly, boats under 50' are covered by BSA's liability
policy. However, I think you have to get a special rider. Someone at your
council office should call Risk Management at national for details.
Remember that the boat is technically the property of the chartered
organization, since units can't own property. So you'll need to check with
them about theft insurance.
