My name is Dan King. I live in Denver, Iowa and am a member of Winnebago
Council, Wild River District, Troop 118.
I started my Scouting as an adult in the Chief Seattle Council, Chief
Kitsap District, Pack 538 Seabeck, and Troop 1541 Silverdale, Washington.
I have held various positions including: Pack Chairperson, WEBELOS Leader,
Assistant Scoutmaster, Scoutmaster, Troop Treasurer, District Committee
(Camping), District Committee Boy Scout Training and last but not least
Council Wood Badge Staff.
I took Wood Badge at Camp Hohobus (SP) course W1-612-90 and am a member of
the Antelope patrol. Last fall I was honored to coach/counsel the Eagle
patrol for course C-25-96.
I have been married to Rebecca for 21 years, and currently have two twelve
year old sons that just crossed over into Boy Scouts (my 18 year old son
was a Life Scout).
I am looking forward to the interaction, and hope this wasn't to wordy.
Yours in Scouting,
Daniel F. King
