A troop can hold one election per year. The only reason for holding a
second election in one year is if no one received at least 50% of the
vote in the first election.
However, I know how youth-run elections sometimes get a little
off-track, and I have on rare occasions allowed "exceptions" to
these rules in order to fix a mistake (you have to hold your breath
sometimes and hope you don't make things worse!)
My recommendation is that you contact your Chapter Adviser and/or
Lodge Adviser to discuss the situation with him/her.
