I agree with everyone else. Let's wait until all the facts are known.
According to the FBI and Florida Dept. of State, less than two one-hundredth=
of 1% of Florida carry licenses have been revoked because of firearm crimes
committed by licensees. Good people do not commit crimes with guns, but use
the guns to protect themselves from becoming another criminal victim death
(around 1.5 million crimes per year nationwide are prevented by the show of
lethal force without a shot being fired). I think we all believe Ratcliffe
to be a good person, so lets wait until all the facts are known before passi=
Even before there was licenses for concealed carry, a person was allowed to
transport an unloaded firearm (ammunition seperate luggage) in the check-in.
How else would hunters, Olympic marksmen, and other sport shooters go to
the hunting areas or shooting competitions? Also, if one is travelling from
a place where if is legal (such as your residence) to a destination where
it is also legal (your relative's residence), then as long as you follow the
local firearm ordinances, things are ok to have personal protection. But...
the rules must be followed, including checking in your firearms unloaded at
the check-in desk.
Let's wait before judging anyone.
