Thanks for the info on Ms. and thank you for your courage talking to her
It certainly is a step in the right direction, particularly that she admits to
herself and you that she has a language problem when with the boys. T-102
take a firmer position than this casual unofficial conversation. She really
understand that as an adult we expect much better behavior than is
the home or in a blue collar work place or a bowling alley with a bunch of
She should still understand touching and some other behaviors are strong major
concerns she needs to fix. This is not adult camping this is BSA.

Tony - turns out that there is indeed a scout camp located at the end of
"Boy Scout Rd", which puts us just 10 miles from Saturday morning's trail
head...I reserved 5 leantos, each sleeps 4 people...cost is $12 per leanto
(comes out around $3 per person, or a little more if we do not have an exact
multiple of 4 people)...there is room for tents around the leantos, so those
working on Tenderfoot who not backpacking can set up and sleep in a tent
Name of camp is Tri-Mount (in honor of the three mountains we will be hiking
in over the weekend!)...it's the Rip Van Winkle Council. It's also the camp
that Randy Messing once asked if I had ever heard of, because he had heard
'good things' about it...
Let me know if you have any problems 'seeing' the camp on the map copy I
gave you...the council is also sending me their map with directions.
Susan gave Nadine and her daughter a ride last night to the daughter's brownie
meeting (her daughter is in the same brownie troop that Rebecca helps out
with, kind of like a Jr Ass't SM)...anyways, Nadine reiterated to Susan that
neither she or Mark would go on this campout, because of the strenuous hiking
involved (both have asthma)...
Dave - fyi (Tony/Matt already know this)...have talked with Nadine and asked
that she voluntarily abstain from attending overnight trips...also told her
that she would have to sit down with the troop leadership (when she was ready)
to talk about when she would be able to once again attend overnight trips...
told her it wasn't just the Ben Newell incident -- it also encompassed smoking
and language problems...while she did get somewhat upset at this, she did
admit she has smoking/language problems...but absolutely denied any
inappropriate 'touching' incidents...
