We normally have troop meetings on Monday nights. We have Courts of Honor
once every two or three months on regular troop meeting nights and include a
pot luck supper before the ceremony.
For an Eagle Court of Honor the family of the boy receiving the honor picks
a day and time. I believe that the success of our regular CoH program
encourages participation in the Eagle Courts. The eats usually come
afterwards at a reception honoring the recipient.
As Monte said, including as many of the boys as possible in the program
helps to ensure good participation.
