My troop visited Annapolis last spring. We took the "official" tour
from the visitors' center. It was a nice tour, but it cost something
like $4 a head. While we were walking across campus behind our official
guide, a young middie sidled up and identified himself as a Eagle Scout.
He told us if we ever came back, not to arrange our tour through the
official visitors center, but to contact the academy's chapter of the
National Eagle Scout Association. He said NESA provides esentially the
same guided tour to Scout units, but does not charge them for it. I don't
have a contact for the academy's NESA chapter, but it shouldn't be too
hard to find.
