>Our other major problem is getting the news to leaders and parents. We
>have two leader/committee meetings each month. Not all leaders make it
>and notall parents hear the news.
We solved this problem in two ways. First we found a parent to make
newsletters for us. They can give a lot of information like awards,
birthdays, jokes but it always had the next three months agenda on it.
Second, we had a secretary type up committee meeting notes then send those
to the Den leaders. Usually the secretary and news letter person were one
in the same. An easy and fun job for an adult.
With these two sources of information, I had a hard time coming up with
excuses to have Den Leaders meetings. I believe in bonding so they where
important to me. But everyone knew what was going on and when.
