Good point! our troop gives the Blue Cards back to each Scout at the
COH together with the merit badge and we sometimes forget to impress upon
an 11 or 12 year old Scout how very important this card is going to be
him down the road when his is 16 or 17...
I, as Advancement Chair, tell this to the Scout...((and mention it to the
BTW the ideas of the baseball card holder is the best I have
encountered.. I know my own son puts his Blue cards.. his rank
advancement cards (together with the badge after he has achieved the next
rank) and even the totem and fire chip and chit cards in there for safe
keeping..(I can never remember which is which)
I have told my son, only half joking, that in case of fire.. grab the
binder that these are in.....
