Hello Candy and other Scouters,
Listed below are some places, that I know of, that you may be able to get Cub Scout
leader Pow-Wow and University of Scouting books. I attended the first two events, I
listed and, I'll be attending the others too. Events like these are a great way to
make NEW Scouting connections, to get hands-on training and to improve the overall
program within your units.
1) The Nashua Valley and the Pioneer Valley Councils, of Massachusetts
held a joint Pow-Wow and had a book published too.

2) The Mohegan Council, of Massachusetts, held a "University of Scouting" in the
Fall and had handouts and an electronic computer file on their earlier Pow-Wow that
many of us received.

3) The Annawon, Moby Dick, Old Colony and Cape Cod and Islands Councils, of
Massachusetts are having a joint Cub Scout Leader Pow-Wow on April 5th, 1997.
Their THEME is "The Jungle Book". They are offering their Pow-Wow Book for $10.00.

4) The Daniel Webster Council, of New Hampshire is having a Mini-Versity (which is
like a Pow-Wow) on March 22, 1997 and they are selling a book for it for $10.00.
