Further to my previous posting .....
Of course perhaps the best part of Scouting is the many like minded friends
Their skills are very useful and bought quite cheaply. Hanging several
doors in my house this weekend cost a modest meal and a little wine. Cheap
at half the price ... plus you get to plan Summer Camp and Mountaineering
expeds while you work.
So yes, the young people come first. But there are so many other benefits.
Some friends at work accuse me of being slightly Masonic. The difference
is I have no secrets! Well not many.
