Campfire is a good organization, but doesn't have the structure or
support of Scouting. It also is not available everywhere (in the U.S.
much less outside the country). And, as the first reply noted, it is
not recognized by everyone. Campfire has levels, but not ranks. Awards
are pretty much locally designed, not national badges.
