Well, hmmm, ok, I agree with Cliff somewhat. It is an important discion
that shoyuld be made by adults, but I need to ask the following question,
however I understand if no answer is given:
Was this rule set up because a HIV+ boy joined or are the boys
preparing for the possibility?
If there is a HIV+ boy in the unit than it should have been addressed
by the committee all though you get into a pretty stcky situation, sometimes
the more people who know about something like this, the whole privacy of the
boy goes out the window.
If the boys were preparing for the future, then they should be
applauded for their foresight, maturity and intellegence. It sounds like the
PLC has a deep understanding of the Scout Oath and Law.
