I'm with you on that one. We include the Eagle as the high point of a
regular COH, so that the entire troop attends.
The presentation is not only for the Eagle and his family, but also for
all those younger Scouts in attendance. An well done ceremony will
impress upon them the importance of Eagle and possibly inspire them to
seek it for themselves.
We have several double, a few triple, and one quad Eagle presentation.
I've never had more than that. I guess I would leave that up to the boys
and their families. If I had 10 boys, or even 17 that went through the
program together and wanted to receive their Eagle together, it would be
their decision and fine with me.
Our next Eagle presentation will be in April. The new Eagle is an OA
Chapter Chief and wants a ceremony with an indian theme. It should be
