We have been fortunate to not be afflicted by spammers. Since they are
not members (although they might use forged member address) and since
they have a mission in life to not care what trouble they cause, it is
unlikely they would either a) read any guidelines we might have or b)
follow them even if we had same.
Naturally we would not want it, but the hit/run nature of spammers makes
it difficult to anticipate. Fortunately, our list runs under the
services of LISTSERV(R) the finest email discussion list program in the
world! =8-) which contains several anti-spam mechanisms.
Members taking other members email addresses and distributing them is, of
course, a violation of the Scout Law, that nobody here would even
contemplate, and would certainly never do.
