The latest thread on Arrow-L is last nights episode of "King of the Hill"
and the satire about the OA. Here comes another, on "in the House",
the star L.L. Cool J. is wearing a red Jack Shirt with a patch on the
sleeve. Oh dear!!!!!!
I went to the re-release party of "STAR WARS" on Friday night. What I
saw amazed even me. There were two teenage girls (16 - 18) and they
were dressed pretty wild. One was wearing a Cracker-Jack navy top
over a pair of levi's. I must say, I do not remember my uniform being
filled out so well. The other was wearing a Cub Scout shirt with a full
compliment of badges. Oh... to be a teenager again. My 14 year old
said that he did not remember a Cub shirt looking so good.
I did not call out the uniform police or yell at the two young ladies. I did
think amuzingly that teenage girls had no problem wearing the uniforms in
public. I can't even get my kid to walk into a 7-11 on Scout night while in
Scouting is supposed to be fun. If you got mad after seeing "King of
the Hill", when somebody wears the uniform wrong, or what ever else
may bother you about Scouting. Get a life... Remember to Keep it Simple
and Make it Fun. It's only Scouting. YiS
