It is my understanding that the change is "immediate" and prospective.
Thus, elections held before the rules changed are binding. Your candidates
were selected "under the rules in existence at the time of the election."
Any elections held after "immediately" has happened in NCAC (which I believe
will not or did not involve any significant delay, but there are many
Amangamek Wipit people on this list who can confirm their time line) will
use the new rules and will still have been conducted "under the rules in
existence at the time of the election." Life is not always fair and there
always needs to be a cutoff date and someone will always be "hurt" by that date.
