I would like to wish all of my friends on these lists a Merry
Christmas and a Happy New Year, and to relate a little reindeer
For many years, Santa had only 8 reindeer. That was changed with the
addition of Rudolph to the string, as related by the Cowboy-Historian
Gene Autry in his song concerning the details of Rudolph's admission
to the fold. It now appears that there are actually _10_ reindeer,
rather than the 9 that have been believed. The existance of the
10th reindeer was also discovered by Autry, and is found in the
forementioned song concerning Rudolph. The 10th reindeer apparently
goes by the name of "Olive". I will cite the reference in the song:
"Olive, the other reindeer, used to laugh and call him names".
Merry Christmas everybody! o<:)'
