The camping trip environment is a far more supervised and controlled
environment than is the environment this same girl and these same boys are
turned loose in every day at home.
At age 14 she could join an Explorer Post which goes camping. Nothing
miraculous is going to happen to hormones in [likely less than] one year.
It is an insult to the boys and to the girl to believe that once in the
woods all the controls they apply to their behavior in the 'urban woods'
back home will be tossed out the window.
It would be relevant, still, to see whether the man is looking to have the
girl 'join' the Troop in all but name, or if there is some other reason for
