I also think it shouldn't be a part of your program if you have any *christian*
scouts or guides :-)
I have been in scouting for 19 years. I have always been in a Catholic scout
association (we also have a non-denominational scout association in Italy).
I have NEVER, EVER had any scout activity involving "Santa Claus" or "Babbo
Natale" (Father Christmas) as it is called in Italy.
We often had Christmas activities in which we were encouraged to discover what
Chrismas really means... which has nothing to do with Santa...
