NESA a resource to Scouting?

Recently, I had time to reflect on the value of an Eagle Scout to Scouting. My
son recently earned his Eagle award at 14 y/o and is still active with his
Troop and Post. However, I am thinking fo the National Eagle Scout Association
with its members and value to perpetuate Scouting. Our council has a chapter
but it is searching for meaning. I would ask my fellow Eagles, Scoutmasters,
and members of NESA, what does your council chapter do to stay active and
contribute to Scouting.I have found National somewhat helpful with certain
lists etc., but it does not show alot of action.
It is my opinion, that Eagle Scouts should be approached constantly to " give
back" to Scouting. I have not seen that from NESA and would like to hear what
my fellow Scouts-L feel about this subject. If you would like to discuss off
the line, please feel free to contact me at Irishpiper@msn.com
