Let me see if I understand correctly: because you disagree with it, you
propose to violate a U.S. law (U.S. Code Title 36, sec. 175, para. c),
thereby violating the Scout Law (specifically, the seventh point) and
invalidating your pledge of allegiance to your country and its symbol
(a violation of both the first and second points of the Scout Law), thereby
invalidating your Scout Oath or Promise, even though the central figure of
your religion, in whose name you propose to violate the law, is quoted twice
(Matthew 22:21, Mark 12:17) as having commanded obedience to the laws of one's
government insofar as they do not conflict with the laws of God?
