I agree with Larry Tomlinson that God is above the Constitution, et. al.
However, Monte Kalisch is absolutely correct in his quotation of the law.
This seems to be a case where we are called upon to "render unto Caesar the
things that are Caesar's." The Christian flag, even though a symbol of the
Christian faith (and possibly not a universal one, at that), is a man-made
object; and unlike Noah's ark, there are no specifications for it anywhere
in the Bible, insofar as I am aware.
BTW, I was reared a Baptist and educated at the largest Baptist university
in the world...I know of no such thing as a "Baptist" denominational
flag...we use the Christian flag.
