Please don't take my comments too critically:-] I'm glad your boys had
a good time, mine sure did.
I'll be back to CDB. I had a great time!!!! A troop from Louisiana
a video of me kayaking through the Nantahala Falls!!! A life time
memory that I couldn't have gotten anywhere else.
I'm just trying to point out that most Council camps equal or match CDB
with their regular program (Tenderfoot through Star), but I haven't
found one that can match its High Adventure Program, in both quality and
selection. My message is pick your Council Camp during the building
years and go to CDB when your troop has a mature bunch of boys and to
use their Provisional Program and CIT to keep your older boys
Again, I can't say enough about their High Adventure Program and the
ability for a troop to tailor its stay. You can serve all of your boys
and do some great stuff. The staff was friendly and helpful, especially
the white water crew. Their water front was as professionally run as
any place I've seen.
I recommend the camp and hope it continues to grow.
